Position: Warehouse Associate

  • Department: Shipping and receiving
  • Reports to: Shipping supervisor
  • Position Summary: Responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Essential Functions

  • Operation of fork truck in a safe manner.
  • Utilize scale for part quantity and weight.
  • Ensure parts are identified correctly during receiving, storage, and shipping.
  • Staging of product to ship using generated shipping sheet and pick sheet.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, preservation, and delivery of finished goods.

Skills

  • Basic math skills.
  • Proficiency in use of bar code scanner.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel computer software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization as a team member.

Position: Press Operator

  • Department: Manufacturing
  • Reports to: Production Supervisor
  • Position summary: Operate metal stamping press and related equipment

Essential Functions

  • Support of the Safety Policy in day to day activities.
  • Ability to operate press in accordance with machine and part specific instructions
  • Monitor automatic feed of coil fed machines. If applicable.
  • Perform scheduled quality assurance checks per instructions

Skills

  • Basic math.
  • Ability to operate calipers, protractor, or specialized gaging equipment after training.
  • Ability to make part to part comparisons as a means of monitoring part conformance.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, and illustrated process instructions.

  • Ability to manage time and multitask.
  • Reliability concerning attendance and punctuality.

Position: 2nd shift Quality Assurance Inspector

  • Department: Quality Assurance
  • Reports to: Quality Manager
  • Position summary: Responsible for inspecting parts using approved inspection techniques.

Essential Functions

  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Create finished goods bar code label
  • Manufacturing receiving inspection.
  • Part layout inspection. ( PPAP, ISIR, APQP )
  • First piece inspection.
  • Operation of scale to verify part counts.
  • Patrol inspections.
  • Use statistical process controls.
  • Last piece inspection.
  • Assist in calibration functions.
  • Final audit inspection.
  • Participation in corrective or preventive action teams.

Skills

  • Basic math.
  • Ability to use a computer in Word and Excel.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to use calipers, protractor, micrometer, specialized gaging and CMM after training.

  • Department: Manufacturing
  • Reports to: Production supervisor
  • Position Summary: Tool and machine setup related to metal stamping.

Essential Functions

  • Support of the Safety Policy in day to day activities.
  • Adherence to Lock Out / Tag Out procedure
  • Removal and replacement of stamping tools in presses utilizing fork trucks.
  • Bolting tools in machines in a manner that ensures personal and operator safety.
  • Train operators on the proper way to run the machine per the instructions.
  • Identify and communicate continual improvement ideas

Skills

  • Ability to operate micrometer, calipers, protractor, or specialized gaging after training.
  • Ability to follow written and illustrated setup and process instructions.
  • Reliability concerning attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with supporting departments

Vacation

Provided for full time employees (a percentage is available for part time employees). The vacation schedule is as follows:

  • At time of hire (1st of the month following 60 days of employment) = 2 weeks (80 hours) paid vacation
  • 5 years of full-time service = 3 weeks (120 hours) paid vacation
  • 10 years of full-time service = 4 weeks (160 hours) paid vacation

10 Paid Holidays

All full/part time employees qualify upon completion of the evaluation period (1st of the month following 60 days of employment and paid according to your work schedule).

  • Anyone other than the above-mentioned relations = 1 excused unpaid working day.

Referral Program

Receive a bonus in the amount of $1800 (pre-tax) once the referral completes 6 months of service.

Attendance Award

Once a month full & part time employee can qualify for additional dollars; all for planning absences one week in advanced and working their normal scheduled hours. The award is paid out every month for qualified employees.
